Open Sketcha, go to Settings → Sketcha Pro and tap Restore purchases. Both subscriptions and the lifetime purchase restore this way.

Purchases belong to the store account that paid for them, so sign in with the same Apple Account or Google account you used originally. If Pro still does not appear after a restore, email me and I will sort it out.

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple or Google — I cannot start, stop or refund one for you.

• iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple's guide: How to cancel a subscription from Apple.
• Android: Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Google's guide: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. The Lifetime purchase is not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to renew.

Tap the .sketchakit file wherever it is — Files, Downloads, a message, a download in the browser — and open it with Sketcha. You can also import from inside the app: Brush library → Import kit.

Brush textures travel inside the kit and are stored permanently on your device, so a kit keeps working after the file it came from is gone. To share your own, select brushes in the brush library and export them as a kit.

The format is open. Anyone can build, share or sell kits, and there is no in-app store taking a cut.

Nothing you export is watermarked, on any plan.

Yes, almost completely. There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud. Every tool, brush, layer and export runs on your device.

Sketcha talks to a network to check a purchase, and to send anonymous usage and crash statistics you can turn off in Settings. Your artwork itself never leaves the device.

Your documents live in Sketcha's own storage on your device and are autosaved while you draw. They are never uploaded anywhere, which also means I hold no copy of them.

Back up the way you back up the rest of your device — iCloud device backup or Google's backup — and export anything important to Files, Photos or another app as well. Deleting the app deletes your work with it.

No ads, no ad SDK, no tracking across apps, no ATT prompt, no account, no cloud — your artwork never leaves your device. The app does collect anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) under a random id that isn't tied to you as a person, never sold or shared for advertising, and you can turn it off with one switch in Settings.

The only other data processed at all is purchase information, and only if you buy Pro. The Privacy Policy spells out exactly what that is.

iPad and iPhone on iOS 13 or later, and recent Android phones and tablets. The App Store and Google Play listings show the exact requirement for the device you are on.

Sketcha is built for a stylus but works with a finger. On iPad it supports Apple Pencil pressure and tilt.
